What does it mean to make goals public?
Making your goals public is a strategy wherein you share your goals and your progress with the world. This includes your professional and personal goals if you want and you allow the role to keep yourself accountable. This also serves as a medium to show any person about your ambitions and strategies for growth.
The main motive here is to increase accountability and ensure that most of our goals are complete if not all. In short, making your goals public allows for accountability by your followers or community thus enhancing the urge to actually complete your goals. other than this, publicly declaring your goals has the following advantages:
- Keep track of your goals and your progress.
- Get feedback from people on your goals.
- A potential way to showcase your ambition to any potential employer.
- Build a community around it while using it as an icebreaker.
